Lost Arrow
Founded in the early 1990’s and based in the Bavarian Alps, Lost Arrow is owned by two climbing friends, Michael Meisl and Wolfgang Rimbeck. After many years climbing in Europe and the USA they wanted to develop their own style of climbing clothing that reflected their passion for the sport.
The name of the brand and the ‘lightning streak’ logo conjure up two of the most evocative images of climbing in Yosemite: the imposing Lost Arrow Spire first climbed by the legendary John Salathe with its hair-raising Tyrolean traverse; and Midnight Lightning, possibly the world’s most famous boulder problem. The routes represent different facets of a varied sport and both are climbs to which many aspire.
The Lost Arrow range is aimed at climbers and boulderers who want functional yet stylish clothing. There are a wide variety of T-shirts and tops with innovative prints, made from cotton or cotton/Lycra, both for men and for women. The trousers and shorts are tailored to allow plenty of freedom of movement and are similarly made from cotton or cotton/Lycra. There is also a range of chalk bags, crash pads and mid-layer fleeces. |
